MECHANICS KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Diagnose engine, gearbox, brake, suspension, and cooling system faults – Use diagnostic scanners and workshop manuals to identify problems – Repair and replace faulty parts to manufacturer standards – Carry out routine services: engine oil change, filters, brake pads, spark plugs, tire rotation – Perform wheel alignment, balancing, and battery checks – Conduct pre-delivery and roadworthy inspections – Discuss faults with customers and explain repair options clearly – Advise customers on preventive maintenance to avoid future breakdowns – Provide accurate time and cost estimates for repairs – Complete job cards, service reports, and log parts used – Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop at all times – Ensure proper care and accountability of tools and equipment – Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures – Road test vehicles after repair to confirm faults are fixed – Assist with vehicle pick-up/drop-off when needed – Support senior mechanics and train apprentices – Advise supervisor on parts to order and stock levels Requirements: – Grade 12 Certificate + Trade Certificate /Diploma in Automotive Mechanics – 2+ years experience in a garage/autoshop environment – Ability to work on different vehicle brands – Valid Driver’s License is an added advantage – Must be hands-on, honest, and customer-focused ELECTRICIANS Responsibilities & Duties: – Diagnose electrical and electronic faults using diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and wiring diagrams – Troubleshoot issues with starting, charging, lighting, sensors. – Interpret fault codes and recommend solutions – Repair and replace wiring harnesses, fuses, relays, switches, and connectors – Install and repair car accessories: alarms, central locking, radios, dash cams, fog lights, reverse cameras – Service and repair starters, alternators, batteries, and ignition systems – Work on AC electrical systems, power windows, power steering – Check and repair dashboard instrument clusters and warning lights – Test and maintain vehicle battery health and charging systems – Carry out electrical checks during vehicle servicing – Ensure proper insulation, earthing, and neat wiring to prevent shorts/fires – Follow manufacturer wiring standards – Complete job cards and report parts needed to supervisor – Explain electrical faults to customers in simple terms and advise on prevention – Maintain workshop tools, testers, and keep work area clean and safe – Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards – Assist mechanics with electrical aspects during engine/gearbox jobs – Road test vehicles after electrical repair to confirm fix – Advise on parts to order and keep stock of common electrical spares Requirements – Grade 12 + Certificate/Diploma in Auto Electrics or Electrical Engineering – 2+ years experience as a Car Electrician in a garage/autoshop – Ability to read wiring diagrams – Valid Driver’s License is an added advantage – Problem-solver, neat workmanship, honest Send your CV to info@hazkauzedinvestment.co.zm OR nomsamoyo91@gmail.comRequirements
