BREAKING: TWO OIL TANKERS CATCH FIRE IN STRAIT OF HORMUZ  IRAN BLAMES SEA MINES

Two oil tankers have reportedly caught fire in the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz, amid escalating tensions in the region.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the vessels struck sea mines after allegedly following a U.S.-backed maritime route through the narrow waterway.

The IRGC blamed the incident on mines reportedly encountered along the route, though it remains unclear who placed the mines, when they were deployed, or the precise circumstances that caused the damage and fires aboard the tankers.

⚠️ The claims have not yet been independently verified, and there is currently no confirmed evidence establishing responsibility for the alleged mining operation.

The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world’s most critical shipping chokepoints, with any disruption posing potentially serious consequences for international oil supplies and regional security.
