Munali Constituency MP-Elect, Thomas Sipalo, today joined Chainda Ward Councillor Japhet Chinyama to host a team of stakeholders in Chainda Compound for a site identification exercise.
The team included officials from the Lusaka City Council engineering department, Zambia Revenue Authority – ZRA, and the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit – DMMU.
Sipalo said the purpose of the visit was to identify sites in Chainda Compound for the drilling and construction of 2 solar-powered boreholes and water kiosks for the community.

He said Chainda Compound is one of many areas in Munali Constituency that has been facing acute water challenges.
After Chainda, Sipalo said Kamanga compound will be next.
The MP-Elect reiterated his commitment to service delivery.
“We remain committed to pushing for more development for our people and less politics. Our focus is on developmental kwamana,” Sipalo said.
